Have you ever been so stuck that you can actually feel the rotation of the earth happening under your feet?!?

I'm sure you haven't - I haven't literally either, but it does feel like it sometimes 😶‍🌫️

At the beginning of summer Michael and I sat down and planned what we wanted to accomplish during the months we can work outside - deck, garden, trail made on our extra lot, a day trip to the bay and one to the mountains, as well as some trips to Idaho & Montana to scope out retirement locales...

However, life seems to throw things at you even when you have the best of intentions and plans laid out 😑

Taking two steps forward and three steps back has been our theme for June & July!

Something has come up each and every time we can start to see the light through the trees.

There is always wisdom in listening to your gut and going with the flow...

just as there is gratification in pushing through the obstruction and feeling that excitement of perseverance!

It's up to us and each challenge to know what is the best course of action... including inaction🛑

For example, we've been working on our deck and everything has been going according to plan. One day over the weekend the weather wasn't great so I asked Michael to walk the lot with me so I could get a better idea of where to place the markers for clearing and widening areas for walking.

Throughout the walk we can look up and see the house and the deck we've been working on - it's coming along nicely!

A couple nights later I was woken up several times by dreams, messages, and warnings about the deck!

I take a few days to really digest what it all meant, and then put together the pitch I need to make to Michael in regards to what I witnessed that night.

I can truthfully say I'm grateful for those warnings and am happy to say we are moving forward in a new slightly different direction that ultimately costs less money and can be done in a fraction of the time - whew 😅

So, even when you think you are having to pause, go in a different direction, have to wait, or need to completely scrap something don't be hard on yourself - wait for the inspiration, messages, warnings or kudos to show you the way forward... or around!

Your inner compass - your intuition works ALL the time - even when you're sleeping! We just have to be willing to listen and act... or not act, as the case may be!

You'll probably thank your lucky stars you listened either now, or in the future ⭐✨🌟
